2020 Awards Recap
Now that the awards season of 2020 is over, we wanted to take a look back at the success our photography campaigns had over the past year. We aren’t ones to gloat about winning awards, but we feel like it was necessary to acknowledge the success of the hard work of everyone who worked with us on these projects. From the AAF Addy Awards to the Worldfest Remi Awards to the AMA Houston Crystal Awards, we racked up quite a trophy collection.
Our goal isn’t winning awards. It’s creating stunning projects for our clients. Though when we can do both, we’ll celebrate the wins.
Evenflo Pivot Xplore Anthem
Addy Awards: Cinematography - Single (Bronze)
Worldfest Remi Awards: TV Commercials over 30 Sec (Gold)
AMA Houston Crystal Awards: Advertising - Photography
In January of 2019, we worked with Evenflo's in-house creative department to produce an image library and anthem video advertising their versatile new product, The Pivot Xplore. Over two production days, we traveled around Houston and Galveston with two real families, plus backup kids, and a full video and stills production crew. The image library and video deliverables that we created are being used across their website, social media, and packaging. Check out the case study to see everything that went into the production.
HCA Houston Healthcare - Women’s Hospital of Texas
Addy Awards: Photography - B&W/Color Digitally Enhanced Campaign (Silver)
In October of 2019, we partnered with Heroic Brand Creative and The Women's Hospital of Texas to create unique and intimate portraits of hospital staff to be hung in the hospital. Each portrait was accompanied by a statement from the individual, stating "why they love what they do.” The graphics were printed in large format and are currently displayed as a large installation just off the main lobby at the hospital.
Hewlett Packard - HP Employee Profile
Addy Awards: Photography - Color (Silver)
In April of 2019, we partnered with TMP Worldwide and Hewlett-Packard on a recruiting campaign for HP to hire the best and brightest new talent. The images were used with stories of their current employees to showcase the value of a career with the company. We got to work with three current innovators from HP’s office in Spring, TX, to create images that are currently being used on their recruitment pages, blog posts, and profiles.
NRG Sustainability Report
Addy Awards: Photography - Digitally Enhanced (Bronze)
In February of 2019, we took on a project working with the in-house marketing team to create a library of images for the 2019 NRG Sustainability Report. We won an award for our retouching work for removing extra props from around the egg bowl and then rebuilding eggs and the rim of the bowl in the final image.
Champions Golf Club
Worldfest Remi Awards: Use of a Drone (Gold)
This was a collaborative effort with KH Studio to create fly-over footage of each hole of the Cypress Creek Course at Champions Golf Club for a website redesign. Our main objective for this project was to coordinate the team and build the creative design of the flight plans. We enjoyed being a part of this team, and the results turned out magnificent.
